The Sherburn Sinfonietta
The orchestra was formed in January 2005 and has already established itself as the leading symphony orchestra in the district of Selby.
Players are of grade 8 standard or above. The orchestra plays a varied selection of classical music and has already preformed Beethoven's First Symphony, Hayden's Military Symphony and other masterpieces in several concerts.
The orchestra rehearses regularly on Sunday afternoons, twice each month at All Saints Parish Church, Sherburn in Elmet. New members are always welcome. For further details please contact the conductor, Malcolm Galloway, on 01937 836155.
